Monty BlackmanShareholder, CPA, Office Manager
Monty graduated from West Texas State University in 1973 with a BBA in Accounting. He is a member of the Austin Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. Monty and his wife, Christy, together have four children and three grandchildren. They attend Shoreline Christian Center. Monty's hobbies include golf, archery, and fly fishing. Monty has served as a member of the Board of Directors as well as an Advisory Board member for various banks. He practices primarily in the area of income tax and consultation. After growing up in Lubbock, Texas, Shannon graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Spanish and then served in the U.S. Air Force as an Imagery Intelligence and Collection Requirements Officer for over 7 years. She earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University in 1997. Shannon and her husband, Bruce, have four children. Her hobbies include riding motorcycles, reading and gardening. Shannon has been a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Round Rock since 2002, and has served as treasurer and secretary in prior years. Shannon practices primarily in the areas of financial statement audit and reviews. Jessica ChenShareholder, CPA
Jessica Chen began working for Brown, Graham & Company, P.C. in 2000. She became a shareholder in 2009. Jessica is a member of the Austin Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Born and raised in China, Jessica came to the United States in 1996 and graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2000 with a BBA and an MPA in Accounting. Jessica and her husband, Jimmy, attend a non–denominational church in Austin. Jessica's hobbies include music, playing tennis, and traveling. Jessica is a graduate of the 2008 Leadership Cedar Park Class of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Cedar Park – Leander Tennis Association and is a member of the Cedar Park Rotary Club. Kevin Kinder has been a shareholder of Brown, Graham & Company, P.C. since 1999. He began his career with the company in the Amarillo office in 1985. In 1996, he moved to Central Texas to work in the Austin office. Kevin is a member of the Austin Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Abilene, Texas, Kevin graduated from West Texas State University in 1985 with a BBA in Accounting. Kevin and his wife, Peggie, have two sons. They attend New Hope First Baptist Church in Cedar Park. Kevin's hobbies include coaching youth sports, playing golf, and running. Kevin is a member of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce. He served as Treasurer of the Chamber from 1999 to 2004. Kevin served as Treasurer of the Leander/Cedar Park Youth League for four years. He served as a member of the Finance Committee for New Hope First Baptist Church for three years and currently serves as Trustee. Johnny Lacy has been a shareholder of Brown, Graham & Company, P.C. since 1975. He began his career with the company in the Amarillo office in 1975. In 1989, he moved to the Georgetown area to start the first of two Central Texas offices of the firm with Jim Albers. Johnny grew up in Turkey, Texas and graduated from West Texas State University in 1969 with a BBA in Accounting. Johnny is a member of the Austin Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, having previously served on its Board of Directors and as Secretary, and the American Institute of CPAs. Johnny and his wife, Darlene, PHD, RN, have two children and three grandchildren. They are members of the First Baptist Church in Kingsland. His hobbies include tennis, golf and scuba diving. Johnny is a member of Kiwanis in Georgetown. He is a graduate of the 1991 class of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce Leadership Georgetown. He served as Chair of the Chamber Ambassadors in 1990. He was selected as Business Leader of the Year by the Chamber in 1991. His term as Treasurer for the Chamber was from 1991 through 1995. He is currently the Treasurer for the Central Texas Subcontractors Association. Johnny practices in the area of financial statement audits and reviews.

Lee National Denim DayWe participated in Lee National Denim Day by pledging to wear jeans and donating at least $5 to Women's Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. We also held a balloon release as a symbolic gesture of our fundraising efforts. |
Monty Blackman has been a shareholder of Brown, Graham & Company, P.C. since 1979. He began his career with the Company in the Spearman office in 1973. He moved to Central Texas in 2005 to begin working in the Austin office as its Manager. He managed the Spearman, Texas office for 15 years prior to moving to Central Texas.
Shannon André has been with Brown, Graham & Company, P.C. since 2001. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Austin Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs.
