Ed Nichols

Shareholder, CPA, Office Manager

Ed Nichols became a shareholder with Brown, Graham & Company, P.C., in 1975. He began his career with the firm in 1968. Ed has been President of the firm since 2008. He serves on the firm’s Retirement and Executive Committees. He is a member of the the Panhandle Chapter of Texas Society of CPAs, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. He is certified to practice public accounting in Texas as well as in Oklahoma.

Ed and his wife, Bobbie Sue, have two children and six grandchildren. After graduating from Plainview High School, Ed attended Wayland Baptist College and West Texas State University. He has served as President of the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce, President of the Ochiltree County United Way and President of the Perryton Club. Ed has also been a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee member of the Panhandle Regional Development Corporation. Ed has been a member of the Perryton Economic Development Corporation serving as Chairman of the Blue Ribbon Task Force. He is currently President, Executive Committee member and Investment Committee member of Frank Phillips College Development Corporation. Ed was recognized as a Gold Star Citizen in 1994 as part of Perryton's 75th Anniversary Celebration. He was also the honoree of the 1997 Perryton-Ochiltree County Citizen of the Year.
