Community Involvement

At Brown, Graham & Company, P.C., we recognize an obligation to contribute to the communities, both civic and professional, in which we do business.

Professionally, two of our shareholders have been members of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants Board of Directors and members of its Executive Committee. One of our shareholders is a past Chairman of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the board of directors of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Other principals and employees of the firm have served as officers of such organizations as the local chapters of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and on municipal boards. We have also been members of the Texas Municipal League, Texas Association of School Business Officials and the Texas Association of Counties. Another shareholder has been a member of the special review committee of the Government Finance Officers' Association. That committee reviews reports presented for the certificate of achievement program.

The firm encourages and supports its employees' participation in professional, civic, charitable, business, and social organizations in their respective communities.
